Electricity is central to us all. It is such a fundamental part of our lives that we can take it for granted – until it is not there.

As both a generator and a retailer of electricity we have a responsibility to help ensure that New Zealand has the electricity it needs. We work hard to understand electricity demand, to help provide it and to ensure our customers use it efficiently.
