Our Business Online service was launched two years ago, receiving very good feedback from customers. We’ve been continuing to add new features to the service.

Business Online is for large users of electricity with Time of Use (half hourly) metering. It provides online graphs and reports about their energy use and costs. That means they are able to analyse their electricity usage and identify ways to use it more effectively – and save money.

Making enhancements to the system has been a two-way process. We asked regular users what they would like to see in Business Online. They provided some great feedback which gave us an insight into what was valuable to them in their own businesses. We used that to develop some new features to meet as many customer needs as possible.

Some of the enhancements from the latest version of Business Online include the ability for customers to view bills online for their Time of Use and non-Time of Use sites, a new column showing whether bills are GST inclusive or exclusive, and the ability to view unprinted bill and statement summary details online – before the statement summary arrives in the mail.

We’re continuing to seek feedback from customers on the service and we aim to include as many of their suggestions as we can.
